Description

In the project overview the current project members are displayed. But the project manager has the ability to assign permissions both per user and per group. If a group contains a lot of users this could be hard to get a good overview of which group got assigned which permissions.

Example:

Lets say that we have Three groups:

Group A:
  • User 1
  • User 2
  • User 3
Group B:
  • User 4
  • User 5
Group C:
  • User 6
  • User 7
  • User 8

In the project User 3 is the project manager and group A and B and User 6 have developer permissions and group C has report permissions.

In the current project overview this would display the permissions as:
Manager: User 3
Developer: User 1, User 2, User 4, User 5, User 6
Reporter: User 7, User 8

With my suggested option, you could choose to display the information as:
Manager: User 3
Developer: Group A, Group B, User 6
Reporter: Group C

One additional feature would be to expand the group and show its contents by clicking on the group name.
