Description

It will be great to organize version control for documents and files that are located in Documents tab.
To implement this feature all uploaded files in Documents section can contain 'edit' button. When user presses the button should appear a form where user may upload new version for document.
Another way is possibility to link documents from repository to documents tab.

I believe this already exists in the Documents module. When a document link is clicked there is an 'add version' hyperlink available, which subsequently spawns a form for uploading the new version and adding a comment. We also use VCS for some documents i.e. contracts.

+1 on an option for managing documents through a VCS directly within the Documents module itself.

I use ChiliProject 1.3.0 with MySQL. The Documents module contains 'new file' hyperlink, but not 'add version' . How can i find 'add version' link ?
