ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Description

Similar to issue 4895 in Redmine, I would like to have GPG support for mails in ChiliProject.
It would be really nice to protect confident content from closed projects, which would be exposed by mail notifications.
Mails should be send encrypted in certain configured projects to each user, that uploaded his public key. To make sense, notifications shouldn't be send to users of this projects, that didn't upload a key.

If you want to control such ChiliProject projects using mails, then encrypting mails send to your ChiliProject instance, would be a good idea, too. But you could simply connect using HTTPS and make your changes.
I don't see a good alternative to mail notifications.

I don't think signatures are that important, because my intent is to protect information and not checking its integrity.
