We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Groups don't scale with a high number of members (Bug #167)

Description

With groups containing 2000 users or more, adding the group to a project can take in excess of 3 minutes. After it finishes, loading of the project index page can take 2 minutes as well.

I recommend that groups be able to become full members of a project, with just a link shown to the group member list page, which would use pagination appropriately.
