We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Hello All,
I was testing the stick connected to a laptop using the host client.
I had set up the WLAN and had installed a few custom android app.
The stick had become very warm (my guess would be 60C or a little more), was uncomfortable to touch.
The laptop then shut itself down, and would not restart with the stick inserted. This usually happens if there is some form of short on a USB device.
Attached to another PC the same shutdown occurs, and attached to a montior and powered from USB there is no signal from the HDMI port.

I am suspecting something fused in the device creating a short.

I think you have come to the wrong website. This is the issue tracker for ChiliProject, a web-based project management tool which is probably used by the organization where you actually wanted to create a ticket.

Unfortunately, we don't deal with Laptop or WLAN stick issues here. :)
