Apache, Chili as root page, and cgit as subfolder
Added by Manuel Mendez at 2011-10-07 03:58 pm
I have been able to setup apache using chili as root as described in the ubuntu meerkat apache variant 1 instructions. Now I prefer the cgit web interface to chili's and until chili can use cgit as the repo viewer I am fine using them separately.
Seeing as chili has more uses than cgit I would rather have chili be the sites root and cgit a subfolder.
I am a noob in both apache and chili. I have tried aliases, different directories and I am always getting chili's 404 page. Can someone help me get my setup running?
Thanks.
Wouldn't having cgit on a different vhost be easier? If not, could you post your current vhost configuration so that we can have a look at what is wrong with it?
