We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Earned Value Management

Hi,

I've been using Redmine for some time (since pre 0.8).

For quite some time I've been thinking on a solution to display Earned Value Management indicators, and manage the projects agains that. It was just a though but now is a need.

I'm interested in the way Chiliproject is going, and I would like to know what are the thoughts of the team about EVM. Will costs be integrated in the tool?

How can I display at least CPI on a task? (Estimated Hours / Spent Hours)

Hi all

I am also interrested by Earned Value Management indicators.

It seems that the company i'm working in, sees it as a feature tight linked to their main use of Redmine.
This main use is managing Customer and internal Issues / Tasks / Features. Inside this process time and ressources are already managed.

Is there already planned features or at least thinkings, that go go in this direction?

A plus for me would be the CPI and SPI for each task, but I don't think I can add it through custom fields - although is just a division.
