ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Timeline and Gantt not showing

I've tried this install on several VMs and on both CentOS and Ubuntu, seems to be working fine, but I don't see the modules for timeline and Gantt charting. Is this something separate I need to load?

Hi,

the Timeline should appear as "Activity" in your left sidebar. The Gantt view maybe needs RMagick, but should run without it, too.

Do you have no menu entries "Activity" and "Gantt", even if all modules are selected for the current project?

Which Ruby, Rake and ChiliProject version are you using? Can you post the infos from "Administration -> Information" please?

Thanks very much for your reply. I'm not seeing the Gantt module listed in the modules tab for any of the projects. Shouldn't that show up?

I'm running 2.4, ruby 1.8.7, and rake version 10.1

ChiliProject 2.4? Oh, that's very old / outdated... I currently can only help with 3.x versions of CP, sorry.

So IMHO there's a big chance that 2.4 doesn't support all features with you configuration :-(

Dou you have a chance to try an update to 3.x? (on a test system)

2.4 should have gantts too. Are you an administrator on your ChiliProject? What modules are available to you in the settings of your project?
