Hi there!
In my ChiliProject instance I have two repos.
In both I have the problem, that when doing a blame or stats view, the actual committername from the repo is used. For one of this project, this is only half an issue, since it is "clean". There is only one commiter and he uses the same name for his commits as his displayed name in issue-tracker, forum, etc, so there is not much confusion.
The other project has 2 developers, both have appropriate user role on that project, but the way they are displayed in the repostats for example annoyes me and the project-owner. One of them is displayed with his realname, the other one is displayed as Peter@Workstation or Peter@Laptop, depending on from where he commited.
Is there a way to ensure that a commiter is shown with his CP-username and linked to his profile? Also it would be good (but is not a need) if Peter@Workstation and Peter@Laptop would be treatend as the same user in blame and statistics view.
Best way would be database or a config file which is not exposed, but a file in the repo wouldn't matter too.
Thanks in Advance,
