ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Recommended Ruby version

Added by Nicolas Paez at 2012-10-19 02:43 pm

I am currently running Chiliproject 2.7.6 on Ruby 1.8.7

I want to upgrade to Chiliproject 3.3 and I was thinking if I should also upgrade to Ruby 1.9.x.

I have heard that Ruby 1.9 has many improvements in the runtime, that is why I ask.

What do you recommend me?

It probably won't make a noticeable difference, use whichever is easier to use in your setup.
