ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

MongoDB

Has anyone successfully migrated over to Heroku with MongoDB? MongoLab offers a nice FREE entry point of a 250GB db on Heroku that seems it would make quite a nice platform for running ChiliProject at minimal hosting costs. Has anyone been able to do anything like this so far?

MongoDB is one of the so called "NoSQL" databases. As such, it doesn't provide a SQL interface and stores its data in a way which is not compatible with ChiliProject. Right now, we officially support SQLite3, MySQL and PostgreSQL. It is very unlikely that we will ever support a non-relational database for our primary data storage. Sorry...
