ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Respository with SVN - [RESOLVED]

Added by Jim McAleer at 2012-05-07 03:26 pm

I've been able to get the advance svn intergration working with the repository but not on a new repository. So when you map to the default helloworld you see a screen where you can map to the root user but no other repository I create thru chiliproject using the cron with reposman.rb can't I get a user even to showup.

Yes I know someone other than the admin has to be assigned to the project but unable to find out where to add the user. I've tried the svn/<projectname>/conf/ files svnserve.conf, authz and passord. Documentation on this is nil. We could seriously use some! I think this is why so many people get turn off to Redmine and Chili because this part is so difficult.

Does anyone have a clue?

Thanks!!!!!!

I figured this out myself. I'd have to go into a lot of detail. but it was more to do with the turnkey conversion to chiliproject. I have documented my install and be more than happy to share.

But the biggest thing is the user will not showup until they make a commit.

Could you add it to the wiki, either to the existing docs or as a standalone doc?

Indeed, ChiliProject/Redmine can't know of users in the subversion repository until they are in there…
